Not sure what to say?

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Ms. Barnes she taught me in the 5th grade at Florence Bowser Elementary School. I shall never forget her and I always enjoyed her teaching. Just learned of her passing and wanted to say how special she was. She made an everlasting impression. I know she is in the arms of Jesus.

The legacy that Ms. Barnes leaves behind speaks for the type of person she had been, as well as the values that she tried to instill in others. My memories of her were as a teacher at Driver Middle School and she knew how to get the best out of her students. She was such a wonderful person with a true zest for life and role model to all those, whose lives she touched. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and the community that she served.

Sincerely, Angela Gomer Sexton
