Not sure what to say?

I am leaving this message on Aug 13th because I live in Virginia and only found out about Lenora's death yesterday when the latest issue of, "Cumberland Connections," arrived by e-maill I was a classmate of Lenora's at Cumberland. I have not seen her since we graduated but I remember her vividly. In addition to being a very nice, warm and friendly person she was also one of the smartest people I've ever met. Lenora was also one of most memorable. I am saddened by her loss and my...

There will never be another Lenora. Almost fifty years ago, she showered her boundless love and creative energy on a little class of seventh and eighth graders. She boosted my confidence and nurtured hidden gifts I had never realized. Her love for learning inspired us to give our best efforts. She saw each one of us as a unique and valued individual. I´ll be forever grateful to have been one of her beloved "cherubs." My deepest sympathy goes out to her family. She lives on in all of...

Steven and family, my heart is broken to learn of Lenora´s passing. It was my honor to work for her when she first came to Sirote. She was one of the most compassionate and caring people I have ever known. You are all in my prayers for strength and comfort.

As my 7th and 8th grade teacher, Mrs. Pate helped shape my youth. I was one of the fortunate few to have been blessed by her passion for knowledge, her kindness and her winning smile.

Lenora was always such an inspiration when she spoke at MGMA ...She was energetic sincere & always so full of life - she will be missed

My thoughts and prayers are with Gavin, Ashby, and family. I remember Lenora fondly.

I extend my deepest sympathy to the family of hearing the passing of Lenora. She was a great leader of par excellence with wisdom and virtue in serving many groups, especially ACCR, of which I am a member. May the family find comfort that her good works speak well of her beyond the grave.

I knew Lenora as the president of the Alabama Citizens for Constitutional Reform. She cared so much for this state and wanted so badly to have a new constitution. She will be missed by everyone involved in this movement.

I was so sorry to hear about Lenora's passing. I remember how cordial she always was to me at your office. Her life and love for God, and others says so much about her.
