Lee and I worked together at the Woodmere Elem School in the early "70's.Lee was my substitute and my friend. She was kind, caring and lots of fun!! I remember when I moved to my new apartment and said I needed drapes. She offered me gorgeous white silk drapes that for some reason she didn't want. I remember going to her house in Valley Stream and her son(Neil) figured out a way to tie the large curtain rods onto my car. I remember that I had to drive home to Manhattan on local streets...
