Not sure what to say?

John and Family,

We thought so highly of Lee. She was such a "Grand Lady" - very dignified, unpretentious and gracious. She always made us feel welcomed in your home. We always looked forward to seeing her with you at Forest Service Reunions and other Forest Service gatherings.

John, know that we are thinking of you and praying for God's peace to prevail over you and your family at this time.

Lee was a faithful spouse and team mate for John whose long US Forest Service career found them with frequent moves. Their final assignment was a return to Alaska where both were pillars of the Juneau community. Lee was notable for her volunteer work and was recognized for her contributions. Additionally, she met and hosted the frequent number of Lee's fellow Forest Service visitors to the Juneau area. Alaska and the Forest Service has lost a wonderful friend and colleague.

Lee was John's wife and wonderful team mate during his US Forest Service career. She endured many moves, but will be most remembered for her time in Alaska. Lee was well known for her community service and always welcomed Forest Service visitors during their long tenure in Juneau. Our sympathy goes out to John and family. We all, including Alaska will miss her, but always remember her kind and warm heart. Betty and Zane Smith

I am trully and deeply sorry for your loss. My warmest condolences go out to the family and friends of Lenore. May the God of all comfort grant you peace and strength during this difficult time (psalm 29:11)
