Not sure what to say?

We used to visit Lenore at her cottage and she would always have ice cream for us and she would give my three children something to take with them. She was very generous to us over the years and I trust she is in Heaven for all the love she gave to so many over 109 years! We are blessed to have known her.

Lenore exemplified what it was to be a Lady, a true "Grande Dame". She had strong opinions bourne of her experiences and was willing to share them. Lenore could be fiesty and direct but always with a certain Graciousness and Style. Looking at the other guest comments it appears she was a surrogate Grandmother to a large community of people. This is not surprising. I've never met anyone quite like "Spicy Nicey" and I doubt I will again. Peace be with you, Lenore, and condolences to her family.

We had the privilege of living across the road from Lenore's summer cottage in Curran the past 7 years. The first time we met her, she was already 102. She brought a joy to our life and she will be missed greatly. Lenore was too feeble to come up north for an extended stay the past couple of years. We know she has now found her peace with the Lord. Rest in peace, Lenore.

Our deepest sympathies to your family on Lenore’s passing, but a celebration of a life fulfilled. She was married to John’s great-uncle Wilbert Schultz for only two years when he died, but we will always remember the joy she brought him during that time.

I lived next to Mr. and Mrs. Schultz when I was in 4th or 5th grade on Borton in 1975. They were both so very nice, and I recall quiet. I remember Mrs. Schultz heading out to the sunroom in their backyard often. I too enjoyed following her in the BCT these past several years. She is certainly one to be missed.

Remembrance is a golden chain death tries to break, but all in vain.
To have, to love, and then to part
is the greatest sorrow of our hearts.
The years may wipe away many things
but some they wipe out never.
Like memories of those happy times,
the times we spent together.
God sent an angel to take your hand and
gently guide you to your heavenly home. Rest in peace, dearest Lenore.

Our deepest sympathy to your family.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Schultz in a department store in Bay City where we were both shopping. What a vibrant interesting woman. I read all the stories in the paper about her after that encounter. May she have eternal peace in heaven. I hope I meet her there again one day.
From someone that won't forget her.

I am so sadden to hear that my best friend that my grandma has know her whole life has past....She was a great lady she had soooo many hats and an excellent poker player....I am so deeply upset You were my "Other" Grandma....She is someone special,
and no one can replace.
The special love she sends to me,
and the smile upon her face.

Shes always there to talk to,
shes better than a friend.
Every problem that I have,
she always tries to mend.

I didn't have the pleasure of knowing Ms. Schultz or her family but I've enjoyed the stories the Times has published in recent years on her life.
She sounds like she was a gracious and happy woman. No doubt she experienced many heartaches and sad times in her lifetime but also many wondrous and happy times. Go in peace Lenore and enjoy eternity in heaven with your family and friends. A toast to a life well lived!
