I worked with Lenton or "Hobbs" as he preferred to be called at the St. Pete Main Post Office in the late eighties and early nineties. He was truly gifted with a marvelous singing voice. He told me that he sang with the St. Petersburg opera and also the Sarasota opera. During the late evenings when we were all working to get the last mail out of the building he would burst into song and his voice made you stop and listen.
