As two baseball crazed boys Leo and I enjoyed watching the Yankees, Cardinals, Dodgers, Red Sox and Mets on tv at MSJ.
Leo was amazing with recalling stats I had never heard of. I may have pestered him into explaining how such stats were figured out.
His patience was enormous, but after a while his face would get really red and he'd tell me to enjoy watching the game and save explanations for later.
We'd rarely meet in later years, mostly at ball games and funerals, but his...

Its just about been a year since you left us I can't believe it I think of you often especially during baseball season I miss seeing you walking around Rutland or just sitting on ur porch or across the street saying hello to everyone walking by I miss your hugs and our conversations. Fly high ole man remember Amy Jean Will always love you

So very sorry to hear about Leo.I remember going
To your house when we lived on whipple Hollow
Road in the 1950's in west Rutland with Val Sherman.
Alway's had so much fun playing there.

Very few people lit up my life the way you did, Uncle Leo. I still can't believe how well you remembered me since my childhood. I couldn't help but gravitate to you in a crowd! I enjoyed every moment with you, every conversation no matter how brief, and will cherish every memory. I can only hope to be as wonderful a person as you!

My deepest condolences to Leo's family.I can honestly say ,during my years at Mt St, Joseph,I never knew a nicer,more polite, and happy student than Leo.His ever present smile, will be greatly missed by all, whose lives he touched.Peace at last,my beloved friend/classmate.

Uncle leo u were the best man ever I remember when u used to babysit us bring us to the store and let us pick whatever out lol u were a good soul u taughts about sports mostly baseball but the time we spent together will never be forgotten I love and miss ya see ya on the other side
