Not sure what to say?

Dear Dad, The tears still flow freely as I read your "Guest Book" on the 15th anniversary of your passing. Although I miss you and your wisdom, I am feeling very grateful that GOD gave me you as my father. You are still my greatest inspiration and example of what a father and grandfather should be. Thank you!

While thinking about words to share about Uncle Lee, several hold more meaning than others. Words like faith, family, honesty, modesty and humor. In recent years we were able to see Uncle Lee and Aunt Joan more frequently. Mom would always look forward to her day trips with Uncle Lee and Aunt Joan. Breakfast at Friendly's then run their errands. We will always remember how important family was to him and how he taught us to cherish our time together. God has blessed our families with people...

Pop could never know the joy that he brought to me. I spent a good portion of my childhood and adolescence without a grandfather and he filled that void. He always put a smile on my face and in my heart. He not only lives on in our memories but also through Lee and young Leo. My sincere condolences to Mom-Mom. And to Pop, "That's a good one!"

Dear Pop,
I miss and think about you everyday. We have so many memories together, like the time you and mom mom took me and the girls to florida. You are such an incredible and an amazing person. Your love and everything you did for me has been engraved in my heart forever. Thank you for being my Pop and showing me what life is really about. You are truely missed and I know your watching over me everyday. I love you <3

Pop was one of those unique people that you just can't get enough of. He was a natural family man that inspired (and continues to inspire) me in every step of my life. How lucky are we all to be able to say that we shared this earth with him! The stories of Pop are endless - even for a young man like me. Vacations, parties, and our incredibly special Christmas traditions...nothing will ever compare to the joy he brought me as a child, a young boy, and a young man. I miss his smile. I...

Pop, I miss you so much. You were always there when I needed you. You had this way of making everyone feel good about themselves. You could always make me laugh and lift my spirits if I was feeling down. I have so many great memories with you, from going to Florida and me being your tour guide when I was only 8 to being one of Santa's elves that one Christmas, to seeing the look on your face when Josh and I told you that you were going to be a great-grandfather. I wish you could have met...

Leo Francis Breslin, a wise and loving family man. He was my dad. I was blessed to have him longer on this earth than my own father. He loved me like a daughter and I truly miss his warmth and the ever present twinkle in his eye. I look forward to the day when I will be with all my Dads in Heaven.

When Mark and I lost our father, Uncle Leo’s brother, we were ages 6 and 11. Although we lived in Va. Beach and Uncle Leo and Aunt Joan in Philly, they insisted we would not lose touch with our father’s family. Every year they invited us to stay with them for a huge part of the summer which not only gave our mom a break from us brats, but also included us in their loving family and many adventures. Oh some of the adventures!…piling as many kids as they could possibly fit in the car and still...

I have a lot of memories of Mr. Breslin growing up but the best memory was of him coaching the football team for the guys from the corner. He was a well respected coach who took the time from his everyday life to help the guys from the neighborhood who already respected him before he even walked onto the field. I know that he really enjoyed coaching because when it was all over the favorite topic of conversation at parties and barbeques with him was talking about the good old football days....
