Not sure what to say?

The one famous "joke" we will never forget was the shoebox full of computer punches he threw into our at our wedding in Chico in 1965. It came as a complete surprise, as I didn´t think brother Jim had that kind of sense of humor. When Patty & I sold that car several years later there was still evidence of punch outs imbedded in the carpeting. He was a great brother even though we were separated by 14 years and I miss him.

I had to wait awhile to write this because it's been really hard losing you Grandpa. You were the very best man I've ever had the privilege of knowing and you have a huge piece of my heart. I feel so very blessed that Jesse and Presley were able to spend as much time with you as they did - and that they adore you just as much as I always have. Your love was unconditional and always constant, your heart was warm and open, and your words and guidance were wise and unpretentious. You were funny,...

I love you so much Dad! I know you and mom are together now. You both are always in my heart!FOREVER! Your daughter

I so enjoyed having him at ALL of Jessie's basketball games! he was always a "hoot". Joe Scrogins

Always a kind and giving man, who loved his family more than anything.

I sign your book in behalf and respect of your granddaughter, Jess.....She so often spoke so highly of you....Leo..Jess loved you very dearly, but you know that...See you in heaven, Linda Gates

Grandpa- you will always be a role model to me! Thank you for tudoring me, loving me , playing with me , counciling me . You and grandma inspire me and I hope Nick and I can be as inspiring in our lives as you. I know you and grandma will be smiling down from heaven . I am so thankful my children could meet you ! I love you grandpa , I hope you know how much I love you !

Jeff & Patty will miss "Jim", brother of Jeffery living in Chico.

Mariano and Todd will always smile at our memories of Jim and Thelma's visit to our home in SF during one of their trailer trips. Jim told me he thought it was great our home was built on sand so it could flex during an earthquake. Haven't worried about it since! Lots of love, Todd and Mariano.
