Not sure what to say?

My deepest sympathies to the family of Mr. Eibner. I had him in 7th grade and have never forgotten him. Although I was unable to keep the silver dollar he and Mr. McGrath gave us to return when we graduated, I owe graduating to them. He was a GREAT teacher and mentor. When he would see my mother over the years and always asked about me. This is indeed a great lose.

I was reading through the Dundalk Eagle today when I saw an article on Mr. Eibner's achievements as a wrestling coach. I started sobbing, standing in the middle of my grandparents living room, when I learned of his passing on July 1st.
I had Mr. Eibner for 7th grade science at GJSMS, and to this day, I remember him as one of my most influential and memorable teachers. At the end of the school year, he told us he wanted us to have something to remember him by, and gave each child a...

My heart goes out to the family, he was a wonderful teacher, who seemed more like a father to me, than a teacher. He will be fondly remembered, as there will never be another teacher like him, and sorely missed.

I was a teacher in the late 50's and met Bo. There were few people that stand out in your memory after 50 years. Bo was that kind of a person. Always laughing and the kind of a person that would help any student or teacher. He was one of the greats.

Todd and Family, I never had the honor of meeting your dad but I known that he was very important in your life. I sat at Todd's desk at work the other day after his dads passing. One of the walls at his desk is covered with the accomplishments and newspaper articles about his dad. Todd had put these articles there over the years, and I never took the time to read them until now. Your dad truly was an amazing man. I know you will miss him and my thoughts and prayers are with you.-- Phil

Oh, how he touched so many young people's lives in countless ways. In his classroom, you learned more than science or math....he taught about life too. Mr. Eibner was a great teacher and a great human being as well. We will miss you, but the love that you planted in all our hearts will remain. Thank you, Mr. Eibner, and may God hold you near Him.

It truly is a sad day to learn of the passing of Mr. Eibner. Words can't express how much he meant to all of us, his "Pointers". He will be deeply missed.

July 1, 2004 is indeed a very sad day in the hearts and minds of all who have attended either Sparrows Point Junior/Senior High, General John Stricker Middle School, and also Patapsco Senior High in the last five decades. We are the people who got to know, respect and love Mr. Leo "Bo" Eibner. Now we come together to honor him in his passing.

When I received the call early that evening to learn of his passing I just sat and cried. First there was Mr. McGrath that we lost and...

This is a very sad day in the history of man. Mr. Eibner was a great teacher and human being. He will be remembered in our hearts forever. Thanks for everything you taught me both in and out of school.
