Not sure what to say?

Nov. 17, 2009

Hi Karolyn....Ernie Dupuis, Walter Collins and I all had our thoughts toward Bucky at the Key West World Championship powerboat races last week. Buck sure loved it there. Walt had a nice tribute to Bucky painted on the sides of the boat they rode in so many times. We could just feel his spirit there, and we missed him a lot. See enclosed photos. Joal

Bucky remembered at Key West Boat Races 2009

Bar Harbor, Maine

Hi again Karolyn, I just had to add this about "Bucky." I remember he used to call me Cecil B. DeMille, because I took so many photographs, even at the track. So I just want to add a pix to the "Photo Gallery" in honor of a friend. I also want to say the last time we were together is when Leo came to the shop......we embraced and spoke of old times together, my prayers are with you.

Dearest Karolyn, yesterday I just found out from Ernie Dupuis what had happened to Leo...........I am so sorry Karolyn. I first met Leo at Texas Instruments in 1966 when he became my helper. We had many laughs together. The weekend of the accident we were in Bar Harbor Maine for the week and never knew what happened. I surely would have been there to visit and encourage you both. I would love to stop and visit with you sometime. Please share our condolences with your family. May God be with...

We thought of you Dad with lots of love on Father's Day, as we do everyday. The kids made Leo a stepping stone to put in front of our lighthouse that stands tall in your honor. On it reads "A TOWER OF STRENGTH" - he has become a tower of strength as you were.

I remember last Mother's Day...it was so beautiful out and Leo and I and Dad were sitting on the deck listening to Dad talk about the barges that came thru and where they would be going....he loved that house so much. Dad I miss you so very much, I miss your smile... I would see you, you would smile and say "hi sweetheart!" Leo has that same smile, it gives me chills when I see it. He has so many qualities of you in him its amazing. He can even sound like you when he speaks some times. He...

Karolyn and family. Katie and I were saddened to hear of your loss. We moved from Curtis Street to Florida and had not been informed. Our thoughts are with you and we hope you are recovering well. Bucky will be sadly missed.
