I've known Leo since 7th grade, and I will miss seeing him around town. What a great guy who never had a complaint about anything, despite his disabilities. Always smiling and happy to be alive! The world will be a less interesting place without Leo in it. RIP Leo. Mike Scholsky

Leo and I in better days
Leo was special, with a big heart, a funny sense of humor and a persevering spirit that never looked at the challenges the world threw at him as something he couldn't overcome. He freely shared in his varied interests of music, books and movies. His ability to make friends where ever he went, his sense of life as an adventure and his unfailing belief in the goodness of people made him easy to love, hard to miss and impossible to ever forget..

Leo and I have been long life friends for 58 years and I can't not believed it ended too soon. Leo had energy from is heart that he spread to whom he met in is life and lasted a lifetime. My heart is heavy and I have too live my life without Leo being their couple doors down from me, going into his apt was like going into library of books, he loved reading all kinds mostly science fiction, especially "Star Trek". Leo's love of music was immense and never ending collection. Leo, enjoy living...

Oh, Leo. So very glad we reconnected earlier this fall. I was looking forward to many happy hours of talk with you. In spite of the long separation I thought of you often and remembered how smart and funny you were. I will miss those talks and the feeling that you were always there. My sincerest condolences to Leo's family and many friends. He was truly special.
