Fr. Leo was a major influence on my vocation to the Priesthood as Retreat Director in MA. I sent him $2 every month from my paper route when I was 12 and he always took the time to send me, not a thank you note, but a thank you LETTER. He was one of God's special ones. He preached hope & joy. RIP.

Father Leo was always a source of love and inspiration. As someone who knew him personally, he would do anything for anyone. He married myself and my husband and baptized our three children. He was selfless and was always a shining and guiding light. When my third child was sick and we needed to baptize him in the hospital, Father Leo came from Conn. to NY. in the middle of a March snow storm. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was always telling one story or another. We will miss him
