Not sure what to say?

To Leo's family,
It has been many, many years since I have seen Leo. He was my boss in my first full time job after college at AE Borden's. He had a wonderful work ethic from which I learned a great deal. He was a true gentleman with a great sense of humor. Even to this day, when life throws a curveball for which there is no good explanation, I can say it is one of life's little vicissitudes. I learned that phrase from Leo & to this day don't really know what it means but I thought it to...

Leo was a true Catholic gentleman. I had known Leo for many years thru his devoted altar serving for St. Bartholomew Parish. I got to know him better when he joined the Needham K of C. I always looked forward to seeing Leo at our monthly dinners and meeting. He always had something interesting to share as well as some quit wit. He will be remember in my prayers as well as those of our brother knights of the needham COuncil. He he rest in the peace that he so greatly deserves.

A giant of a man who left this world a better place. St. Bart's will sorely miss Leo. May he rest in the eternal peace he so richly deserves.

Mr. Heffernan was a great man, a lot of fun, totally devoted to his family, great Catholic representative, much loved and as sharp as a whip to the end. What more could one want from life/ He showed wonderful dignity in death. He will be missed terribly.
