Leo Hellerman

I met Leo many years ago when we both worked for IBM in Böblingen Germany. We soon became close friends spending much time together, hiking, talking about mathematics and philosophy, When Leo returned to the US and I moved to Switzerland our contact relied mostly on email. When my wife and I visited New York we also met Leo and went hiking with him in the Catskill mountain. This was the last time we met. He was a patient in my optometry office...enjoyed every visit. Bright guy with a broad spectrum to converse with....loved his kids....they are a great legacy
