Margaret, your marriage to Leo was one I always admired. I truly appreciated how he spoke of you and the twinkle in his eye as he lovingly mentioned you. You two were a very classy couple that complemented each other perfectly.

I am very sorry to learn of Leo's passing. He was a true gentleman and so very capable in whatever situation he was presented. He was fair and understanding in his relationships and it was a pleasure to work with him. Knowing him remains as a very positive memory for me. Wanda and I send our most sincere condolences to Margaret and his family.

It is with great sadness that our staff and other associates in economic development are learning of the passing of Leo. He was deeply respected and admired for his many contributions which impacted countless Iowa communities. He was a mentor and treasured friend to all who sought his help and guidance with business and community development.
