Not sure what to say?

Rusty, I just learned of the death of your Dad, and was sorry to learn that he was livin here in Florida at the time of his death - near enough to visit. Leo was a great colleague, a great Commissioner and a great friend. I relished reports of "Leo Kirven sightings" by other colleagues in the field tied to his Joint Commission visits. The most recent was from my youngest brother Denis, a psychologist in New Jersey. Your Dad was always so proud of you. I wish you well in all you do.

Rusty and entire Kirven family. I am deeply sorry to hear of your father's passing. It's been a long time but I still remember the friendship our families shared. Our fathers' were not just Colleages. Your father was a great man who helped many people in the Mental Health field.

I have fond memories of "the big white house" next to Central State, of you, your Aunt Betty and Cousin Mary...and of course, your father.

May your memories give you peace during this...

Rusty, I just heard of your father's passing, and the loss of your son. I am so very sorry. My prayers are with you and your family.

On a happier memory, mom misses her Christmas ornaments you would bring to her!

Dear Rusty,
I am truly saddened at the death of your father. What a fine man and father. I have such fond memories of you and your Dad. A lot of them were in Church, and out at the house. He was always so polite. I have wondered where you moved. I hope you are happy and healthy!!!! I have discovered facebook and quite a few of our classmates. Kay Swink asks about you. My email is [email protected] if you could just let me know you are okay. Thanks Rusty. Since 5th grade, Mary...

Rusty and family, I am so sad to hear of the passing of your father. Dr. Kirven was a wonderful person. I had the pleasure of knowing him since he started working as a Surveyor for the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospitals.
There are so many wonderful memories of Dr. Kirven. He so enjoyed surveying Hospitals and working on teams with other Surveyors.

He will also hold a place in my heart. There are so many people that adored your Father.

May God provide...

I pray for the family's comfort and peace. I am a social worker from Virginia, and my first job was with Dr. Kirven. And did he give me a lesson in "mental health". He will always be remembered by his crew in B-30 at ESH as our "beloved" Ddr. Kirven. He was in deed a great man. His presence will be greatly missed. Mary in VA

We are sorry to hear of Edwin's passing. I remember my Grandmother, Euphala Kirven, talking about him. He would always keep in touch with her with newsy letters and pictures of the children. She would share this family news with us. Our thoughts and prayers are with you now.

Rusty, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your father. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. Please do not hesitate to let me know if there is anything we can do for you or your family.
