Levie, Leo Age 91, of Edina, MN. Preceded in death by loving wife of 64 years, Margie; parents, Benjamin & Gertrude Levie; siblings, Rose, Al, and Ethel Levie. Survived by sons, Stephen (Barbara) Levie, Monroe Levie, Joel Levie (Patty Kakac); daughter, Barbara Levie; 11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; special niece, Ethelyn (Howard) Cohen; brother-in-law, Ben Brodsky; life long friend, Mannie Katz ; and many other dear family and friends. Leo gave unqualified and constant support to his family. He was a contributor to many humanitarian, environmental and progressive causes. Leo was V.P. and co-owner of Ellen Kaye Laboratories. With his brother, Al, they created Final Net, the first non-aerosol hair spray. In comfort, Leo spent the last three years always appreciating the love and attention of his family. The family would like to thank the many professional caregivers who attended to Leo, especially the dedicated staff of The Wellstead of Rogers, North Memorial Hospice Care and Senior Abilities Unlimited. Funeral service FRIDAY (TODAY) 11 AM, UNITED HEBREW BROTHERHOOD CEMETERY CHAPEL, 70 1/2 at Thomas Ave. So. Richfield. SHIVA, Sat. 7 PM Temple Israel, 2324 Emerson Ave. So. Minneapolis. To the family-
I just read the obituary or I would have made it a point to be at the funeral. My condolences to all. Leo was like a father to Wally. His kindness lives on as he truly "paid it forward". May you have peace.

I just read about your father. I thought it was your dad in the obits and asked Diane at work who confirmed it. I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved family member. I wish you peace during your time of bereavement and sorrow. All the best to you and your family.
