Leo B. Lind Jr. of Concord died on July 22, 2016, after an illness. He was 71 years old.

Leo is survived by his wife, Margaret Lind; his daughter, Beth Lind of New York City; his daughter, Kathy Lind Berardi, son-in-law Jeff Berardi, granddaughter Caitlin, and grandson Gavin of Needham, Mass. He was preceded in death by his son Bobby. He was also loved by his sister Christine Colella and her husband Paul Colella of Cincinnati; his brother Paul Lind and his wife Susan Worrall of Melrose, Mass.; his sisters-in-law, Diana and Susan; his brother-in-law, Jack; his late brother-in-law, Kevin; and his nieces and nephews.

Leo was born in Weymouth, Mass., to the late Leo and Marie Lind, and attended Archbishop Williams High School in Braintree. He attended Boston College and earned his J.D. from Boston College Law School. After marrying Margaret and graduating from law school, he relocated to Concord to raise a family. In addition to being a devoted father and husband, Leo was passionate about the law. He started his career as an attorney at Orr & Reno and later went into solo practice. He was appointed to the N.H. State District Court and served as a judge for well over a decade.

Leo passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family. He will be remembered as a loving father and husband, a deeply beloved grandfather, an excellent attorney and judge, and a highly respected member of the community.

A funeral is scheduled for Friday, July 29, 2016, at 10 a.m. at Christ the King Parish at St. John the Evangelist Church, 72 S. Main St., Concord, with a reception to follow.
