Not sure what to say?

Our heartfelt sympathy to the Lucero family. Monsignor Leo was a most loved friend & neighbor to our family especially my parents, Higinio & Elisa Rodriguez, who lived behind Cristo Rey Church & Rectory. He visited our family often as he was very fond of mom's cream cheese cherry pies and cooking. He must have blessed our home up teen times. He was a prayerful and faithful servant of the Lord. We will miss you, Monsignor Leo. May you rest in peace in God's loving arms.

To the Lucero family: My deepest sympathy on the loss of your loved one. Monsignor Leo Lucero was a good friend to both my Mom and Dad. He also knew most of us by our first name. You will always be remembered. You made such a positive impact on lots of people and we will be forever grateful. Rest in Peace.

Oh dear Father Leo, you were the best thing that ever happened to Saint Anthony's Church in Pecos. You made such a difference in our young lives. What a positive influence on us. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to tell you this when last we spoke. I will miss you terribly. God bless you.

Monsignor Leo, I will always be grateful that my husband and I met such a kind spiritual priest. Your special visit to San Diego, when, we celebrated your Birthday by the Ocean with a group of your friends and us.

...vaya con Dios

Msgr. Leo will forever be remembered for his compassionate and loving spirit. His life in reverence and service to God, Church and all His people will forever be remembered by all those who knew him. We will sorely miss Msgr. Leo's smile and presence in our lives. We love you.

"..Lord, now you are letting your servant depart in peace, according to your word." (Luke 2:29)

My Condolences to the Lucero family.
RIP Monsignor Leo Lucero.

Monsignor Lucero, was our Pastor for 16 years at Cristo Rey Church. He touched the lives of many of our parishioners and will be greatly missed! I had the pleasure of knowing him well. Father Leo knew my parents Carlos & Ruth and my Family Adam & Stephen who attended Cristo Rey Parochial School. He's definitely in heaven with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I was part of the Music ministry at Cristo Rey. May he rest in peace. God bless you Monsignor Leo!

When I was a Freshman at Pecos High and my parents had recently divorced you help me get through the confusion. I remember you and I liked collecting candles of many unique forms. You were a true Man of God. You were compassionate and always tender hearted. May you dance with Jesus. Mrs Margie Gonzales Romero.

You were our priest when I was a freshman in Pecos High School, may you rest in peace in the loving arms of our Lord
