Leo and Bettie lived on the block behind us in Sunnyvale, CA. We met when my dog put her nose through a knothole in the fence. He was watering at the time and he turned his hose over the fence toward the dog, narrowly missing me in the process. After that, he and Bettie were fast friends with me and my husband, David. I remember Leo as a warm and friendly man, most always smiling. Leo, we miss you, guy.
