Rest in peace my friend.

Its hard to believe that a year of your passing is close. Your presence is felt in the parishes that you loved. You touched so many lives. You were a wonderful servant of God and will not ever be forgotten. RIP with Our Lord, Father Leo. You earned your wings.

I heard the Lord say: "A good son has returned home"

We will miss him very dearly! May Rev. Leo J. McKernan rest in peace with the Lord!

My deepest sympathies to the entire McKernan Family at this very sad time. Father Leo was so much to so many. I am honored to have experienced his spiritual guidance, friendship and support . May you find comfort in the blessed memories of his extraordinary life as a brother, friend and priest. His works live on in all who experienced his shepherding.
