Not sure what to say?

I just learned of Leo's passing and I feel terrible that I was not more in touch with him as both a professional advocate and a friend in my first year as a Head of School at the St. James Academy back in the early to mid 80's.

Leo was not only a true professional to both the students and their families but also a perfect mentor for this young rookie in his first year as a Head.

I had just recently sent him an email, please read it and see my thoughts on it.

Angelo and Family,

My deepest condolences as I hear of your dad's passing. May you find peace in the memories you've all shared and comfort in your families and close friends. I'm so-so sorry for your loss.

Leo was a remarkable man and neighbor whom I will never forget. My thoughts are with you Grace at this very sad time.

Grace, please accept our condolences on Leo's passing. We just buried my dad on March 6th. He already has the company of an old pal! God bless you and your loved ones!

Dear Grace and family,

Sam, Alexander, Jonathan and I send our love, blessings, and many prayers. Leo was an extraordinary man. His love for his family, and the many families who knew him through his profession, will never forget his innate elegance, his humility, his excellence in serving the community at large -- and, his terrific sense of humor.

Leo was sunshine.

Love, Stephanie Trivas
