Leo is still such a vital part of the teacher I became and the work we did together helping the Elec Tech students write good documentation. He lives in my memory as the kindest and most calming of people. He was also dear to me husband Ed who passed away October 2020.

Dear Marilyn, I taught with Leo for a number of years as part of the writing program for the electronics students. We met often informally. I enjoyed our conversations and working with him. We spend our winters on Sanibel Island (near Fort Meyers)and did not receive formal notification of his death until today when it was forwarded to us. Carol Coon emailed me with the sad news of Leo's passing. I shall miss my old Electricity class partner. He taught me so much about his field and about what it means to be the best of human beings. His gentleness and example continue through each of the students--and colleagues--that he touched. And he did touch all of us with his example.
