Not sure what to say?

I was just rereading a letter I received from Father Ryan and looked up his obituary notice. I grew up In St Philip's parish when Father Ryan was assigned there. At that time and since then he has been one of the people I have liked most in this world. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was down to earth and always accessible to his parishioners. My parents also thought very highly of him. We had a brief but happy reunion in 2008 and it was wonderful to see him again. He is someone I will...

Enjoy playing golf with Saint Peter.

Fr. Ryan, a life long friend, I served him as an alter boy, he married my wife and I and baptized my 3 children. He was a dear friend of my parents and the entire family. Rest in Peace and thanks for all that you did.

Words are inadequate at a time like this so I found some of dad's photos that I have been going through for the genealogy project I am working on. I especially love the one of all of you down the shore the summer of 1957. What I will always remember most is the family round the table talking, singing and laughing. Those memories will keep you alive in our hearts forever. Rest In Peace.
