Dear Lucy and family--
I was so sorry to hear that Lee is no longer with us. He was fortunate to have you as his life partner for 58 years. Those of us who worked in the Film Group at Hercules were fortunate to have Lee as a team member. He was one of the guys that made working a fun experience.

To the Sokol family,
You are in our thoughts and prayers..I am so sorry to hear the news..

Dear Lucy & Family...My heart was broken when I read of Lee's passing. We grew up together. We were lifeguards together and we often kidded about my Lehigh and his Lafayette backgrounds. I was in your wedding. He was the best of friends....the absolute best. God Bless all of you and i know that Lee is with our Lord and the angels.

To the Sokol family:
I was saddened to learn of the loss of your Dad and husband. Lee and I worked together at Hercules for many years in the film business. He was a good friend, and I remember him fondly. Reading Kim's comments brought tears to my eyes. I can remember how proud he was of her, the boys, and especially Lucy. I was with him during some of the rough times at Hercules. I will always remember his loyalty, honesty, and willingness to do anything attitude.

To the Sokol Family:

I remember Lee Sokol well, though I have not seen him in many many years...as a 1LT and then CPT in the USAR I served with Lee (then a LTC) in the 81st US Army Reserve Command HQs in East Point, GA during the late 70s and early 80s. Like Lee I was an Airborne qualified Infantry Officer, additionally Ranger qualified, and we shared a love for the Infantry surrounded by the other Staff Officers who mostly were not in the combat arms branches.

Dear Uncle Lee,

Today is the 39th anniversary on the loss of my mother, Sally, who you always spoke so tenderly about. I know you are in heaven with her, Uncle Pete, Nanny and Pappy and all those who were a part of your beloved family. You were always an inspiration to me, very distinguished in your demeanor, so kind and caring, someone who taught the meaning of “values” in life, a great smile, and a man who took so much pride in his family, with a tremendous love for each. ...
