Not sure what to say?

Can't believe it has been 4 years. Continue to rest in peace Uncle Dale.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Dale's loved ones. Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss.
Dale, may you rest in peace and thank you for your service.

-Ricardo "Rick Benavides Jr.
Retired U.S. Border Patrol

Squincle, you were my first partner when I was a rookie cop in El Paso in 1963. You were a hard working, hard charging cop. We soon became life-long buddies. I joined the Border Patrol in 1970. Ten months later you showed up at my doorstep in McAllen, Texas, you had just joined the Border Patrol too. We stayed in touch over the years and I am going to miss you. You were a good lawman and a good friend.

Rest in Peace Uncle Dale. You will be missed. My prayers go out to Allan, Deenie, Ruthie, BJ and Frankie.

Dale, I met you back in the early 70's when my then husband and I started a girls softball league in Laredo, Texas. A few years later I was divorced and working as a waitress and you gave me an application for the Border Patrol. Well, thanks to you, my dear friend, I was hired and had a successful career. We lost track of each other years ago, but I never forgot nor will ever forget the huge impact you had on my life. Rest in peace, my friend.

Dale, you will be missed by everyone that ever knew or worked with you. I worked with Dale at Ft. Hancock in 1970, he was DPS and I Border Patrol. As a trainee I looked up to all Officers that I encountered, he was one of the best.
God bless you and your family.

Dale Squint was an icon of Laredo Sector for so many years. He led many of us through the brush and along the river to show us what the real work of the Border Patrol was.

You will be missed Dale Squint. But you are now in a better place and with your beloved Belinda. Dianne and I will miss you but know that you are always in our hearts.
