Not sure what to say?

Thank you Barb for letting me know of Leo's passing. He indeed was a great boss. I too was a bookkeeper and worked for Leo 8 plus years, 82 to 90'. A memory of him walking down the halls with a cigar stub in his cheek and trying to laugh comes to mind. His office had a glass window which looked into a room with 6 bookkeppers all 19-20 years old. LOL. I bet he had some stories about us too. He surely is missed by us all. Heather and Lisa, he talked about you two all the time. Love, Carleen...

I'm sorry to hear of Leo's passing. I worked for him many years ago at Smith Bucklin. He really was the best boss anyone could hope for. He had 9 of us bookkeepers to deal with, and always did so with a sense of humor and that cigar in his mouth.
I wish I had tried to track him down earlier but came up with the news of his passing. I'm so sorry. Many blessings to you.
Barbara (Stern) Faberson

Dear Heather and Lisa,

I am truly sorry for your loss. I have many fond memories of time spent with Leo in Champaign. I am sure he will be greatly missed by those around him.

Dear Lisa & Heather,
Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to the both of you. “Buddy” as Brittany so fondly referred to him, meant a lot both of us. We hold and treasure many memories of our time spent as neighbors. He will always hold a special place in our hearts. We are so sorry that we weren’t there for you at his service. Please know that Buddy and the both of you will remain in our thoughts and prayers for eternity. Let us know if there is ANYTHING we can do for you.
God Bless...

So sorry to hear of your loss. Leo was my colleague for many years at SmithBucklin and I have fond memories.

To the Strock family, I am totally at a loss of words to offer comfort. I worked at the same company with Leo several years back and he was such a great fella. What a laugh he had, he was so funny, a wonderful person to know. My upmost sincere condolences to you all and know that Leo will be remembered with the fondest of memories.
