Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Waninger,

I just wanted to let you know that your family is in our prayers. I met Leo at Collis Inc in 1999. Leo helped me start a small computer business. He referred me to many of his friends. Leo was always looking out for me and he wanted me to succeed in life. He motivated me to finish college so I could provide a better life for my family. Leo was a great person who believed in giving everyone a chance. He will be deeply missed.

When I saw Leo's name in the obits, I thought it had to be a mistake. He was my teacher for several subjects at North in 1973 and I agree that he was a very caring teacher who also tried to make it fun. To his family I offer my condolences. Leo used to come in to Scunucks where I used to work, and joke with me when he saw me. That's just how he was. . .

Aunt Berta,
After attending Uncle Leo's services this week, I am still very saddened by our family's sudden loss. However, it was a joy to see how many people Uncle Leo has touched. The funeral mass was the most beautiful celebration of life that I have ever been a part of. Uncle Leo's charm and charisma is present in you, Eric, Amy, and will be in the new baby. We loved him so much, and will dearly miss him. You will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. We love you so much.

Dear Roberta,
Sorry I missed you at the funeral home. I came but couldn't wait as I had to go teach a class in Henderson. My fondest memory of Leo will now be that Sunday morning in the Chapel at Sarto when he came down to offer a prayer and support right before I gave my talk. It is still hard to accept that later on that day the Lord took him home.

Mr. Waninger, you and your family will be in my prayers.

Roberta and Family, It was with great sadness that I learned of Leo’s passing. As with several of my classmates, I got to know Leo much better during our class reunions. I was always eager to open Leo’s emails, because I knew they would either be informative or make me laugh. His wonderful wit and wisdom will be missed by everyone who knew him. During your time of deep sorrow, please remember how blessed you were to have been loved by this wonderful man and to have shared his life for many...

Mr. Waninger was a great teach! I was blessed to be taught by him at Bosse! I never knew how he had the patients to deal with us...now I know it was love of Jesus! Thanks you Mr. Waninger. To the family, you are in my prayers

DeColores Bro Leo! I was blessed to have spent this past weekend with Leo during Cursillo #66. Through his words and actions he showed me the depths of his faith, and his willingness to share it was a true gift. My heartfelt prayers and condolences go out to his family. Please know he is now in heaven with all the saints as one of their very own.

Leo left this world a better place by his actions. Please know my heart is with you during this difficult time.
