So sorry to hear the news of Leola's passing. She was a kind lady who always made me feel welcome in her home. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a great laugh.

Leola and I were classmates for 12 years at St Johns in Essexville as well as cousins. She was a good, good person and I will not forget her.

Suzanne and I send our love and condolences to all of the Wittkopps on the passing of Leola. She was the best of the best and we cherish her memory.

Ellen, I am so sorry for your loss. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Leola was a grand/happy person to be around. I helped my sister Lila clean her home a few times. Wow - could she make beautiful quilts. And I was always anxious to see what Lila received from her at Xmas time. Always a beautiful handmade gift, It was sure a pleasure to know her.

Wittkopp and Johnson families,
I am so sorry about your loss. Leola was such a sweet lady - with some of the best stories! I so enjoyed getting to know her through the Bay Heritage Quilt Group as well as the Apple Blossom Gang! When I saw her this past summer, as sick as she was, she was still full or her usual spunk! She will be greatly missed.
