Dear Mrs. Brock & family-

I just heard the news of Coach Brock passing away. I have fond memories of Coach Brock and his friendship with my dad, Ron Miller. The 2 of them loved coaching and mentoring the kids and I'm sure they are visiting each other in heaven- I feel your pain as you morn the loss and I will keep you in my prayers- It's been 7 months since my dad left us, and just know that time helps as do stories that will be shared with you by students and friends-...

Mrs. Brock & Sons,
I was shocked and saddened Saturday evening when I learned of Coach Brock's funeral. It bothers my family and me that we did not know of his death until after the fact. You and Coach Brock are very special people to graduates of Stedman and Cape Fear High Schools. He will always be "the Dean Smith of Basketball in Cumberland County." You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Coach Brock was a great coach. Our seasons were action packed. It is was what one could call the 'glory years'. He will be missed and not forgotten. We hope that you will come to know the peace that only God gives, and that the Holy Spirit will bless and comfort your family during your time of bereavement.

Mrs. Brock and family,
May God Bless you at this difficult time.
Coach will be missed on the court and off.
Find strength in your family and Faith.

Sue and family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Leon was a wonderful man. I enjoyed our years of friendship, both at Cape Fear and in the neighborhood.
Leon touched many lives and will live forever via the guidance and advice he gave to all his "kids".
May God wrap you in His loving arms at this difficult time.

Sue Brock and family
May your memories be a precious source of peace, strength and comfort at this difficult time. Please remember that you are not alone.
Leon bought the Stedman and Cape Fear fans so much excitement and fun. I knew him first as a Referee and a friend.
Sincerely
