May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Leon was a special, special man. He was my teacher at Washington and again at SFSU. He was also my friend, and I fondly remember sailing out of Sausalito with him, among other wonderful memories. My condolences to his life partner and family. He will be missed, but never forgotten. Claudia (Aron Ross)

It is with a heavy heart that the newspaper today had Leon´s obit. As a biology student at GWHS in his class back in `63, we got to know each other pretty well. I particularly benefited from his insistence on data and critical thinking. I am...

It was a pleasure to know Leon during my George Washington High School years 1972-1975. Leon was a loved teacher and will be sorely missed.
