I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to Charlie, Leila, Nicole, Tim, John, and all other family and friends that Leon touched during his lifetime. I look back with great happiness in having been able to call Leon family. His life and legacy are a testament to the wonderful person he is.

Leon was a cherished friend of mine. We met on the Amazon website, where he read a book review of mine. Although we lived on opposite sides of the Atlantic (me in Ireland) we visited each other on a number of occasions. He was a wise and kind mentor to me. Leon was incredibly well-read and related fascinating stories about his days in Michigan politics. I shall miss him. Rest in peace, my dear friend.

I am so sorry to read about Mr. Cohan's passing. He was such a lovely, sensitive and well-traveled man. I knew him from his walks on North Campus and we chatted often about the loss of his dear wife Heidi, and his new life with Miriam, while I was working at the Library desk. I am delighted to have met him.
My sympathies and love to the entire family.
