I first met Leon when I did my Medical Technology internship at Southern Baptist Hospital in 1965. As a tutor/mentor in his department, he was kind, thoughtful, patient, and caring about the students. While I did not follow him into his particular area of expertise, I fully understand his devotion to his field. May all of his wonderful memories help sustain the family in this most difficult of times. You have my sincere condolences on your loss.
