Not sure what to say?

Miss you my cousin. You always visited me on Franklin st. Kiss my Mom and Dad for me

Such a kind and gentle soul

Sorry to hear about Leon. Know you will miss him. He is with your Mom and Dad now.

It was sad news to hear of your passing but comforting that another of our family is with the Lord. My condolences to your family as they will miss you so much.

As the last, youngest of the Chicago Debrocke's, I was still able to spend many summers with all the families, and will never forget Leon being at every event. I have this image of him in my mind's eye that I will always cherish: quiet, warm, kind, content, peaceful, accepting, and always loving everything and everybody at all the gatherings. My dearest cousin, you are at last at well deserved rest and peace.

Rest in peace in the arms of Jesus

Rest in your well deserved peace, my warm, loving and always accepting cousin. By your very actions you were a subtle leader showing us the way of tolerance, peace, patience and most of all love.

My brother Greg and our family spent so many summers with our cousin Leon and his brother and sisters. Since we too were half Folmers (our mother Mary and Uncle Jimmy sister and brother), we always loved being with our family on those long trips,. I could always count on Leon for his kindness, sharing, acceptance and always loving attitude for his summer invading cousins from Chicago. Leon was special and a teacher of many dear lessons.

Rest in peace my cousin
