86 yrs ago the world was blessed with the arrival of a baby boy who carried with him a large torch. Every time I saw Leon, he would say something witty that would make me laugh. Though he has now left us, the light from his torch, will forever shine.
It has been an honor and a pleasure to have known you Leon.

I have fond memories of meeting him back when we were all residing in Michigan...we shared laughs...some with him and some because of him...he loved and was proud of his life and family. In 1965 Leon and Beryl took a trip to Europe. It was a tour, and one of the places on the itinerary was London. Leon, who until then was a mega coffee drinker became a tea drinker. Lipton!
