Stephanie, I worked with your Mom and met your Dad when they married. He was a truly special person with an amazing memory. We met dozens of times over the years and he never forgot my name nor did he ever miss an opportunity to brag on you. I wish God's peace for you.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Leon. I had classes with him at UAB during the 70's. He was always so nice to me. I have not seen him since that time, but have always thought of him. So sorry for your loss. Rest in Peace, Leon.

Trooper Hampton was indeed a mighty man.
A man of valor and wisdom. He gave me one of my first ride alongs out on Hwy. 280 when I became the first female AL State Trooper. He treated me with respect and kindness. I will always remember him with respect and admiration.
Sincerely, Clara Zeigler
