Not sure what to say?

To the family of Dr Kruger, I´m one of the thousands of kids treated by Dr Kruger at Shriners Hospital after my parents were told the day of my birth that I would "never walk, move my arms & hands enough to feed myself, or do basic tasks without help". At 3 days old I was admitted to Shriners Springfield for the first year of my life, then treated as an outpatient until 16 years of age. I saw Dr Kruger every 8-12 weeks until my discharge. I went on to live a great life, support myself well...

Dear David "Kra " and Dr. Kruger Family,

We are deeply sorry for your loss and pray that the Almighty will bless his soul and give you comfort and peace. Reading about Dr Kruger and his life and achievements in trying to help others and make their lives happier is refreshing. may the Lord inspire us and others to do at least a fraction of what he did. God bless you all

Hello Kruger Family,
Sorry for your lost. I was a patient of Dr. Kruger at Shriners Hospital. If not for his work and help I would not be were I am today, so with that said I wanted to say thank you to his family. The lifes he has changed are many.

Anita and Family . I am so sorry to hear about Dr Kriger's passing.. My thoughts are with you .He was a wonderful Man and his work will continue as he touched many lifes. This was seen in the notes from Patients that wrote right here . I worked many years at Wesson Memorial and also work at Baystate .He will be remembered by alot of us that enjoyed working with him ..He was always there for the pts and also for us as nurses . He truly cared . Again Im very sorry . Bonnie Wood Hampden Mass ..

I live too far away to have been present at Leon's funeral but I was very moved to learn of his passing. Growing up around the corner from the Krugers', in whose house I spend many hours of my boyhood, I knew Leon well and he was a model for me. And I believe that my dad (Justin, who passed away 20 years ago), who was very, very selective about his friends, liked no one more in the world outside his own family than Leon. Having spoken to Ricky on the phone, I'll stop here except to say it's...

My sympathies to the family of Dr. Kruger. I have always remembered him (as well as the late Drs. Jim Fisher, Gary deN. Hough and, sadly also recently, Gary deN. Hough III) for their knowledge, surgical skills and most importantly, their wonderful way with the children at Shriners Hospital in Springfield. I worked there while in college in the orthotics and prosthetics shop in the early 1960's. The patients at Shriners were indeed fortunate to have such a caring group as these fine...

It is with great sadness that I wish to extend my condolences to Mrs.Kruger and her family in their time of grief. Dr.Kruger was a wonderful and caring physician that I had the great pleasure of working for at Mulberry Orthopedics. His love and dedication to his patients, especially the children, was beyond words. I think of him often and will miss him dearly. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and all those that had the priviledge of knowing him as I did.
