Of Cheektowaga, NY, December 7, 2009, beloved husband of Henrietta (Kucharski); loving father of Mark (Zoe), Cynthia Reyes Gomez; grandfather of Paul Jr., Keith, Greg, Kristy Ertl and Marie Majerowski, Anne (Joe) Burquist and Beth Majerowski; great-grandfather of Charli Ertl; brother of Peter; brother-in-law of Jerry (Kim) Kucharski, Sylvia (Mike) Johner; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will receive relatives and friends at the WENDEL AND LOECHER, INC., FUNERAL HOME, 27 Aurora St., Lancaster, Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9, with a Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated at St. Philip the Apostle Church, 950 Losson Rd, Thursday morning at 10 AM. Please assemble at church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice Foundation or Roswell Park.

I have great memories of Uncle Leon especially from my childhood. I think my memories at the lake were the best. I always loved too when A. Hank would show me something they were creating or working on at the house. Either he was fixing something for her or they were starting some great new project together. I was always amazed.
