Not sure what to say?

He was a great human and leaves a legacy of public service unmatched by anyone that I know. He and his good friend Bruce Mauser, rescued me from the depths of despair following the death of my wife, and gave me hope and employment working for the town of La Conner. He was a great boss as mayor and inspired all of us who worked for him. RIP Bud, La Conner is a better place because of you and your vision.

Dear Leslie What a life your dad led! I'm sorry for your loss. May the memories of adventures keep you company during the reflective times. Caroline

I'll never forget Bud and all he did for La Conner. He was one of my first heroes and still is.

Group of 10 Memorial Trees

My sincerest condolences to the whole family. Bud was a great person to work for when he was mayor. He left a legacy of tireless effort in getting Maple Hall built into the community center that it is today. He leaves some big shoes that can't be filled I think. A great human who should be an inspiration to all. RIP cousin.

Single Memorial Tree

Bud ran against my Mother for Mayor. I remember his daughter Lisa and i had fun during this time. Infact I think we both knocked doors in town. My mother Mary Margaret Lam remembers a time when she was Mayor. There was a dunk tank. Bud's cousin Terry Nelson threw the pitch that dunked her. Bud was a gentleman and carried her on his shoulders. My mother laughed about this a few days ago and wanted me to share this. Bud Moore was a good man, husband and father, grandfather.

What an adventurous life, with wonderful memories. Our hearts go out to your family at this time.

WOW! What an eventful life. He was the Real life "Raiders of The Lost Ark.". When I offered Boat Rides to Goat Island and Shelter Bay Bud was always on The Street with a greeting and Friendly Smile. He Never met a Person he didn't like!
