Lee was a classmate in company F-1. Lee was a great classmate - always cheerful, working hard, and watching out for classmates. And, if you knew Lee, you also knew Ginny - a wonderful couple. I ran into Lee one time on active duty. I was TDY around Feb 1985 to Alaska for a week. To my surprise, I bumped into Lee at Fort Richardson and I will always remember an evening there with Lee and Ginny. Our hearts ache for you. Lee was a friend, rival, brother-in-arms, teammate, classmate, and long time inspiration. You and he were a storied couple, enduring in friendship and love, and modeling for all a wonderful relationship. Peggy and I send our deepest condolences and sympathy to you. May Lee rest in peace, and God shower you with strength and comfort.

I'm so sorry to hear of Lee's passing. There are so many fond memories of Ginny and Lee and their move to Columbia. I pray for God's comfort and peace for the family through this difficult time. Love to all.

The Colonel was an amazing person. He was a co-worker, a band mate, and most importantly a friend. He was always kind and would make you smile and laugh. He was a hell a saxophone player even though he would never stop puffing up those cheeks. I'll never eat a sloppy joe again with out thinking of him first. He made a huge impact on my life and I'm grateful of the time we got to spend together. It's hard to lose anyone, but the good ones like him hurt the most and send ripples of sadness...

Country, duty, honor, family, and friends are the best words to describe Lee. Rest in peace my friend.

I have know the Morands now for several years helping them plan
and enjoy the trips to Spain and Portugal. As a travel agent I love
it when clients come prepared and give me direction so I can
make sure their travel adventures come true. Yes the Colonel was
intimidating at first but once you got to know him he was a pleasure
to work with - and Ginny has always been kind and accommodating.
