My condolences to the Murphy family. My father (Harold Weinert) worked with Leon for many years at Michigan Bell. They were good friends. My father always called him "Scooter." Sounds like he had a rich and productive life. God's blessing to your family.

I share your sorrow and grief also.Leon and I were good friends for more than 60 years.I was a friend of Seymour for 50 years and Bill for 20 years.I worked at Telephone Co.with Leon in the same Dept.for about 35 years.I refered several games in Football and Basketball for son's Bob and Jim when they were in High school.
