Leon Murphy

I met Leon when he worked at Valley Lumber when I worked for a wholesale building materials supplier. He was someone I always looked forward to calling on because I knew he would give me a part of his day. His knowledge of his industry was unequaled and I will always remember him for sharing the same willfully. Thank you for your friendship, Leon. I will always cherish your memory.

Leon is my Father In Law & I have very fond memories of him when he came out here to Rhode Island to be at our (Deb & I) Wedding. He's very funny & fun to be around. I will miss talking to him on the phone, & his Email Jokes. Most of all I will miss HIM. In the short time that I've known him, he has made me feel like apart of his family since day 1. I will always Love him for that. Murph, I will always take great care of your little girl. I won't let you down.

I havent seen Leon for a few years
But have been on a few fishing trips to Canada with him and his group,we really enjoyed him he was always laughing and telling jokes.
PS He Alwyas claimbed to catch the most fish Leon will be missed by a lot of people including me.

Dear Leon Murphy family,I worked with Leon at Vally Lumber for 8 years. We told each other jokes all the time.What fun we had.God speed my friend.

We will miss you Leon,,,Longtime co-worker for 10 years at Wickes Lumber and dear friend for 35 years..
He always lent a ear and gave life altering opinions..His generosity touched many of us younger guys in the lumberyard , he was a leader& A true friend

I had the privilage of working with Leon at Valley Lumber for a few years. Leon had a wonderful sense of humor and I enjoyed talking with him as did everyone else who came in contact with him. My condolences to the family.

Leon was one hell of a guy. I have know him for over 25 years and have never had a dispute that we could't work out. I will miss his humor, ribald comments and the good feeling I came away with every time I spoke with him. He was great at what he did just because he was Leon. I'm grateful that he was able to be a part of my life for so long and will have stories to tell about him for many years. My condolences to Stella and the rest of his family.
