Leon P. Piatelli

I was sorry to hear about Mr. Patelli's death. It has been many years since I have seen him or any of you, but I do have some funny memories from Vose Hill Rd days.

We were so sad to here the news of your passing .But so gratefull to have spent some time recently with you and Auntie,talking old times and new challenges.We will miss you Uncle Leon. Love Roy, Linda ,Amy and Stephanie.God bless

As the parent of several Milton Little Leaguers I was honored to have the opportunity to meet Leon Piatelli. Most of us volunteer and then leave the scene after our children move on. It is a testament to Leon that he continued to give to the children of Milton throughout his entire life. His example will be followed by the many fine men and women who give of their time and energy to the children of Milton. Thank you all for producing the best funeral I have ever been to! I knew it would be a day of memories and laughter. Leon was the best. And all of the Piatellis made him so proud today. Sally and I are honored to be part of your extended family. I am sure my dad and your father are up in heaven sharing a joke.

I will always remember Uncle Leon for all his magic tricks he played on us kids at Auntie Sisters house at Christmas. I always looked forward to see him there because he was the only one that could pull a quarter out of my ear. I loved him and I will always remember his kind and generous heart. Aunt Angie, Jason and I are praying for you and the rest of the family.

We are so sorry to hear obout Leon passing. He was a wonderful, gracious man with a great sense of humor. We laugh when he would drop you off for the bus for Foxwood. He would come on the bus & say Angie I forgot to give you money to play with. He would give you a $1.00
and say I hope you win a lot. It broke the bus up laughing. Our thoughts and prayer are with you at this time.

We were introduced to Angie and Leon and their wonderful family through "Auntie Yoli and Uncle Mike" our dear neighbors and friends. Family was most important to Leon, and he and our father had many talks on the subject. I remember Leon as a gracious, warm and jovial man who always had a nice thing to say about everyone. I will never forget Uncle Leon's kind, generous, and funny ways. He was always such a joy to be around and a great blessing to our family.
