Leon Richardson, 63, Indianapolis, passed away on April 3, 2014. He was a member of Grace Missionary Baptist Church. He was the president of The Dads Club Football League.
His father, Roosevelt Richardson, mother, Alice Emma Lee Reid- Richardson preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memory, loving wife, Sandra Richardson, sons, Leon Ricky Richardson (Michelle), Mark Anthony Richardson (Heather), Darryl Ferguson (Becci), Michael Ferguson (Kelly), J.R. Johnson, daughter, Candi Welby (Emillo), sisters, Elizabeth Banks, Yvonne Ware, 16 grandchildren, host neices, nephews, other relatives and friends.
His visitation will take place on Saturday, April 12, 2014, 10am-12pm, with the Homegoing Celebration commencing at 12pm at Grace Missionary Baptist Church. His burial will take place in New Crown Cemetery.

Such a good friend, coach, and most of all, father to me. I grew up not knowing who my father is and you took me right under your wing. There are days where I sit and cry thinking about you big fella. Taught me a lot about being a light to the community and also being a man. I was thankful for the coaching points you gave me to help further my game but more and more I find myself doing exactly what you where doing here on this earth, giving back to the community.
