I had the privilege of working with Leon at Northampton Memorial Shrine for many years where I experienced his dedication to his job, compassion for loved ones and lighthearted working relationship to all of us. He was a wonderful friend and the memories we shared will last a lifetime. Rest in Peace Leon. Deepest sympathies to his family and friends and to those who were honored to have known and worked with him!

My name is Newal Duncan. I knew Leon while working at the Rupell Funeral Home, from 76 until he retired. We swapped a lot of sea stories at the cemetery and Hecktown Firehouse. He was a good man. So sorry for your loss

Leon, you failed to make your battle stations during general quarters. You are now relieved from your watch. A job well done fellow navy veteran. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The carrier has turned into the wind preparing for your final departure. The honor guards are stationed and final volley has sounded. Taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation´s defender. Smooth sailing shipmate.
