I'm grateful to have met Leon through my dear friend Mindy Dacus. They both shared a love of film, music, food and art in addition to being part of the "Texas Mafia". Leon's humor and candid personality was a pleasure to be around and I so appreciated that he spoke his truth without mincing words. His paintings will live on to share the beauty and depth of this very interesting man. God Speed Leon and GO COWBOYS!!!

Leon was a true Renaissance man in cowboy boots and I am so glad I had the pleasure of meeting him through Mindy Dacus. Leon had a spirit and zest for life that touched everyone he met. Gone but not forgotten.
