Not sure what to say?

Mr. Silverman, as I always addressed him, allowed me to work in his office during the summers when I was out of school. I learned more in that environment than I did in 4 years of college. His son, Leon and partner Eli Stein, were a joy to work with and have fun. Mr. Silverman did a lot for the community and was a great friend to my family.

Saddened to hear of this tremendous loss. Leon will be greatly missed.

I've known Leon since I was six years old playing tennis at Logan. He was always so kind and willing to play with me and my father Leonard. His enthusiasm for the game was unmatched. I will miss him. My condolences to his family.

So sorry for your loss! Leon was the first person I met when I was a freshman at Muhlenberg. We shared a small alcove in a very large room and I think I had the top bunk. Will always have fond memories of our college and fraternity days!

We offer our condolences. We pray in your behalf, and we offer the hope of welcoming back our loved ones on a Paradise earth. Psm 37:29

Our deepest condolences to Jan and family.

Leon was the personification of the " old style" lawyer. He always wore a hat and suit, he always spoke softly ( except when his paralegal was late) and his demeanor was gentlemanly and with a smile. His clients, I am sure, felt like they were talking to their grandfather. He was the finest example of a real mensch.
My condolences to Jan and Allison and to his law partner Eli who were my roommates at 230 South Broad.

Dear Jan, David and I are deeply saddened to hear that your dearest Leon passed away. While we have been with Leon and you mostly at bridge and milestone celebrations, it has been many years since we first met.
We were always taken in by Leon's warmth, intelligence, and modesty. You could see also the joy, pleasure and pride he had from you, the children and grandchildren. We knew too how much he was respected by his colleagues and peers, and he could play a "mean' game of tennis. We...
