Leon Smith M.D.

A great man who touched many lives in a gentle way. His presence was a comfort to women and their families during a difficult labor. His voice was reassurance that dawn would come and all would be well. He is fondly remembered after many years of working with him.

Leon was so friendly, funny, and kind. He will be greatly missed. Much love to Joyce and her family.

Met Dr. Smith thru my daughter Michelle. He was one of the kindest and most gentelist doctors who always had time for everyone. May he rest in peace with God.

My deepest condolences go out to Joyce, to his sons, daughter and grandchildren. I was blessed to work with Dr. Smith at Moutain Park. He was a caring and a great teacher. He loved and shared his passion for cooking. He
had such wonderful stories and his jokes. You will be truly missed. I want to say thank you for your work ethics and compassion it has remained with me always.

I was so sad to hear of Dr. Smith's passing. I worked with him from 1988 thru 2003 at Good Sam. We delivered many babies together. I will always remember his gentle ways. Heaven will offer up new opportunities to make people smile. We celebrate the life you had here, and the legacy you left behind.

I'M SAD TO HEAR MY DR. THAT DELIVERED ME IN 1992 HAS PASSED AWAY BUT I HAVE ASSURANCE HE IS IN HEAVEN WITH OUR HEAVENLY FATHER. I WAS HIS 999 DELIVERY WHY I KNOW ITS BECAUSE THATS HOW DEDICATED HE WAS TO HIS PATIENTS MY MOM CAME ACCROSS WITH HIM AND HE'D SHOWED US ON HIS NOTEBOOK WHERE HE HAD RECORDED MY BIRH MAY GOD BLESS HIS FAMILY AND FIND COMFORT IN OUR LORD. Oh....I am sad to hear this news. I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Smith at MPHC. What a pleasant, brilliant, passionate physician he was - and with a great sense of humor. He treated everyone (patients and co-workers, alike) with equality, kindness and respect. He will be missed by many.
