STARKE, Leon, 66, of Richmond, departed this April 8, 2013. He is survived by his wife Shirley Starke; two sons, Shawn and Antonio Starke; a host of grandchildren among them, Jasmine and Tevin Smith; two sisters, Paulette Simpson and Jennifer Snead; one brother, Walter Starke; one aunt, Vernell Campbell; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter-in-law, Jolanda Starke; three sisters-in-law ,Emma Gardner, Dorothy Goode and Dorothy Starke; four brothers-in-law, Lawrence and Tony Taylor, Lacey Simpson and Wesley Snead; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where memorial services will be held 1 p.m. Monday. Rev. Darrell Taylor officiating.
